Flange Technical Handbook
An online engineering reference for industrial flanges — standard families, flange types, designation systems and configuration. Reference tables are published in stages; catalogue files, drawings and documentation are released through the enquiry route.
Overview
This handbook presents FLOWTEC (UK) flange reference information as online pages so it can be used directly during engineering and specification work. It is organised by standard family and by flange type.
Standards named here are design-basis references — they describe the framework a flange is worked against, not a statement of certification. The governing standard, edition and scope are confirmed against the project specification at quotation stage.
Detailed dimensional reference tables are being published in stages as each source is reviewed. The full catalogue, drawings, material certificates and project documentation remain available on request through the enquiry route after technical review.
By standard family
Design-basis references only. Dimensional tables for each family are published in stages; no values are shown here.
By flange type
Capability framing with standard-specific naming. Configuration and dimensions are confirmed against the governing standard at quotation.
Long welding-neck, reducing, orifice flanges and stub ends are also addressed within the catalogue scope — request technical data for these configurations.
Designation systems
ASME flanges are designated by pressure class (Class 150, 300, 400, 600, 900, 1500 and 2500); EN 1092-1 flanges by PN designation. Class and PN are designation systems rather than interchangeable equivalents — the allowable pressure of any flange depends on material group and service temperature under the governing standard.
Rating values for a specific duty are confirmed at quotation stage against the governing standard.
Catalogue & documentation
The downloadable catalogue, dimensional drawings, material test certificates and project documentation are released through the enquiry route after technical review. Every enquiry is reviewed by our engineering team before catalogue or documentation release. No catalogue or dimensional data is published for public download.
Tell us your size, standard, class, material and facing and our engineering team will respond with the relevant reference and documentation.
