Capability
FLOWTEC (UK) engineers are involved at the briefing stage, not just at quote. The capability below sets out how engineering, documentation and manufacturing fit together.
Step 1
You describe duty, fluid, standards and project constraints — by email, phone or via the enquiry form.
Step 2
FLOWTEC (UK) engineers review the brief, propose a configuration and flag any standards / certification gating.
Step 3
Datasheets, dimensional drawings and certification evidence are issued against the confirmed specification.
Step 4
In-house production where confirmed, or a controlled supply chain where the scope is sourced or project-based.
We work as an engineering counterpart to the consulting engineer, EPC contractor or MEP team specifying the system. The brief, the fluid, the duty curve, the standards reference and the project envelope are all considered up-front so the proposed configuration is aligned to the actual requirement rather than to a generic catalogue selection.
Per-product scope is declared on each product page. Where the scope is in-house production we say so; where the scope is sourced from an approved supplier we say so. Mixed-scope ranges are managed as a “manufacturing-led programme” — combining in-house production where confirmed with a controlled supply chain where appropriate.
Documentation issued against a confirmed project specification includes the datasheet, dimensional drawing, material declarations, and any certification evidence within scope (where applicable). FAT records, witness-test records and traceability documentation can be issued where the contract requires them.
We respond to engineering enquiries within two working days. Add products to an enquiry list or describe your project in your own words.
